Squaretable Sustainable Remuneration

The topic of "Sustainable Remunderation" has received much attention over the past few years: in 2010 the remuneration policies of companies such as DSM, AkzoNobel and Shell hit the headlines multiplie times; in 2011 the attention turned to the remuneration policies of banks in light of the renewed Basel III regulation. Although many companies are still seeking a balance between profit and value creation, the Netherlands is often seen as a pionier on this topic.

Following from the research program on Sustainable Innovation, Squarewise is currently researching the topic of Sustainable Remuneration. At the Squaretable we will share our first results, but we will also engage in discussion with executives and experts on this topic. "Can we stimulate long-term decision making through a remuneration policy, and does this promote sustainability within the entire organization" will be the central question.
