On the 4th of October, Squarewise hosted yet another inspiring Squaretable on the subject of “Co-creating added value for sustainable materials and end products.” The presentation is available below. A written summary of the discussions will also be made available on the website soon.
Students of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, in collaboration with consultancy firm Squarewise, conducted a study that maps the interaction between leadership and the change that characterizes the 21st century.
Squarewise published an article based on the Squaretable Chemical Industry on January 26. The article "Capturing added value from new sustainability driven customer requirements: reassessing value chain position and business dynamics." reflects on the viewpoints of the various speakers and respresentatives that attended the Squaretable.

At the 22ndannual ISPIM (International Society for Professional Innovation Management) conference hosted in Hamburg this year, Squarewise was recognized as an outstanding contributor for its’ delivery of the paper entitled “Organizational Capabilities as the Key to Sustainable Innovation”.
Squarewise receives her sixth consecutive nomination for the ROA Impact Award. This award is extended every year by the national consulting Organisation (ROA), for the consulting project with the highest societal impact. Squarewise receives this nomination for an innovative project concerning sustainable construction.
During a festive election night on the 29th of March 2011, the prize for Best Company of Noord Holland 2010 / 2011 was awarded. The nominees and the winner were selected by a judging panel of Noord Holland business leaders chaired by Jaap Bond, deputy of the province of Noord Holland. Squarewise was one of the five finalists, who all excelled in terms of personnel management, innovation, creativity and financial strategy.
Sustainability has become a key issue for many businesses. In the care sector, however, it doesn’t appear to be a real priority yet. The quality and cost of care are the dominant concerns while sustainability is still a matter of publicity, not practice. The care sector has great potential for sustainability initiatives because of its large scale use of energy, people and resources.
On January 20th 2011, "Het Zorgpadenboek" by authors Prof. dr. Guus Schrijvers and Nicolette Huiskes MD was published. Squarewise consultant Ellen Roelofs, together with the Rode Kruis Hospital wrote the chapter on the Acute Admissions Unit pathway.
